The Commodity Futures Trading Commission sued New York-based crypto exchange Gemini on Thursday over allegations that the exchange's employees misled agency staff in July and August 2017 about how easily the price of a bitcoin futures contract could be manipulated to convince the agency to allow the bitcoin futures contract to trade.
