Tesla (TSLA) CEO Elon Musk is once again helping his favorite cryptocurrency, Dogecoin (DOGE), get a bit of a boost.
- The billionaire tweeted Friday morning ET that goods for Space X, his space exploration startup, can soon be purchased with Dogecoin, just like Tesla goods.
- The Dogecoin price jumped as much as 10% to $0.086052 immediately after the tweet, before recently settling at a gain of about 7.7%.
- Last December, Musk's announcement that Tesla goods could be purchased with Dogecoin helped the Doge price rise as much as 33%.
