For your information, you can find below the description of the video Merz Says Ukraine Can Strike Deep in Russia, BYD Beats Tesla in Europe | Bloomberg The Pulse 05/27 published by the Youtube channel Bloomberg Television:
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said Ukraine has been given permission to use weapons supplied by its allies to launch strikes deep inside Russia. “There are absolutely no range limits anymore for weapons delivered to Ukraine, not from Britain, the French or from us — also not from the Americans,” Merz said at a conference in Berlin on Monday. “That means Ukraine can defend itself by attacking military positions also in Russia.” The US has previously approved the deployment of Army Tactical Missile Systems, known as ATACMS, in border regions with Russia. The UK meanwhile approved Ukraine’s use of Storm Shadow cruise missiles on deeper targets. Germany had long refused to deliver the long-range Taurus cruise missile, though Merz has expressed approval of its use. In the markets, bonds rallied worldwide after Japan indicated it’s looking to stabilize its debt market after weeks of rising yields. The dollar bounced back. In corporate news, Tesla's European sales roughly halved in April to just 7,261 units, with its market share continuing to erode despite a refreshed lineup. The decline suggests Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk’s controversial politics and association with US President Donald Trump are hurting the brand’s popularity. China’s BYD sold more EVs than Tesla in Europe for the first time last month, according to market researcher Jato Dynamics.
