‘Volatility in the markets’ seems to be where many of the talking heads believe we are heading in 2023. Investor Michael Burry is calling for a recession, the IMF is calling for a recession. And now, Gareth Soloway joined the bandwagon and is also calling for a recession after we see a spike in the markets in the first half of 2023. As a guest on the Jay Martin Show, Soloway revealed what he’s looking at loading up on in 2023, where he seems equities heading. And where he sees crypto heading. Contrary to what Michael Burry believes, Soloway does not see the Feds being able to put the money printer back on and believes this will lead us into a recession. Soloway is still keeping his prediction that crypto will see its low in May/June of this year but believes there will be opportunities. Soloway used Solana as an example. Solana is currently trading for $13.46 up 19% in the past 24 hours but down 94% off its all-time high. Solana can go to zero but it can also go to $50. Understanding the downside risk versus the upside reward will be an important factor in a volatile crypto environment this coming year, as Soloway predicts many changes will come with regulation.
