That marked the fastest pace for inflation going back to November 1981. Bonds had their worst first half the year in decades and Bitcoin also had its worst quarter. Analysts and experts are expressing concern, as the macro-environment is in an area that we’ve never been before. Nonetheless, on the MAX & STACY REPORT podcast, former Bond Trader turned Bitcoin maximalist Greg Foss expressed his concern about what’s going on in the economy but confirmed his conviction that Wall Street will eventually see the immense power and utility of Bitcoin, and will be forced to adopt. Despite Bitcoin trading at around $19,900 at the time of writing, Foss, a former credit trader, believes that over the next couple of years, credit traders will appreciate Bitcoin and make the transition once they realize that Bitcoin is insurance against the default of sovereign nations. Foss comments about defaulting nations come right on queue as for the first time in nearly two decades, the exchange rate between the euro and the U.S dollar is about equal. The Euro dropped to a 20-year low on Monday, approaching parity with the dollar on fears that an energy crisis in the European Union could drag the region into a recession.
