Concerns arose from the pundits and analysts, as Bitcoin’s drop could signify that this was a fake pump and that more turbulence is ahead. Some analysts might suggest that harsh daily corrections are a norm rather than an exception considering the asset’s 67% annualized volatility. While other analysts believe that the BTC futures premium, $470 million in liquidations and excessive stablecoin lending all point toward new yearly lows. The yearly lows are exactly what macro investor Raoul Pal sees as the once-in-a-generation for investors for 10-50x their money. In an interview with Scott Melker, Raoul Pal discussed how the media and pundits are wrongfully creating a narrative around crypto not being a long-term asset. Raoul pointed out that the new lows are now considerably higher than the previous low and that we are just at the beginning of the mass adoption that is coming.
