Inventors and Business leaders in Silicon Valley are calling for Silicon Valley Bank to be bailed out after a week of turmoil in the banking industry, beginning with the collapse of Silvergate Bank. As a guest on the Blockworks Podcast, Hedge Fund Investor Mark Yusko gave his take on the banking crisis. Yusko points out the issue with a bailout, which he sees coming for Silver Bank, is that “too big to fail” banks like JP Morgan are losing more per day, than Silvergate lost overall. Pundits and analysts called the collapse of Silvergate a “crypto” problem, but Yusko is arguing that there is a deeper issue going on with the market and banking system.
