The Bitcoin ETF is the only thing in the headlines for crypto in the past few weeks. The news of the ETF finally being approved experienced a false flag when a hacker posted the approval on the SEC’s X profile. The price action took a slight dip but bounced back and is not trading for $46,008, at the time of writing. Cathie Wood, CEO and CIO of Ark Invest, took to Bloomberg to share her thoughts of the upcoming ETF release and the potential price action. As a partner with 21-Shares, Cathie has her own ETF in the hat with the other major financial institutions, including Blackrock, Bitwise, Invesco, Fidelity and Grayscale, just to name a few. Two of the biggest talking points about the Bitcoin ETF is the price action and the purpose of the ETF. Cathie believes the uptick in price for Bitcoin may be delayed, as many are anticipating a moon shot right out of the gate. Cathie has long stood on the fact that her investing strategy is set for 5 years and she is not interested in the immediate price action. As for the purpose of the ETF, many Bitcoin maxis believe a paperback ETF defeats the whole purpose of Bitcoin in the first place, and this ETF is just a way for the greedy wall street investors to get their hands on another product to sell the uninformed. Cathie shared her thoughts on this as well.
