In the wilderness, so vast and wide,
A people seeking, with no place to hide.
Led by a pillar, of cloud and fire,
Guiding their steps, their hearts' desire.
Pillar of cloud, rise high,
Touching the sky,
Pillar of fire, burn free,
For all to see.
In the darkest hour, in the shadow's chill,
The fire warms them, against their will.
And when the sun scorches the ground below,
The cloud shelters them, wherever they go.
A symbol of hope, a beacon of light,
A promise of freedom, in the endless night.
A testament to, their covenant's pyre,
Everlasting, the cloud and fire.
So let us remember, when we feel alone,
The pillars of old, how brightly they've shone.
In our hearts, they kindle a fire,
We're never lost, with cloud and fire.
